To help everyone keep up to date with the key information in the group,  here is the first of our regular summary posts…


Jake Temple is leaving for the Austrian border on 14/10 and is appealing for funds to spend there to benefit the families on the migration path. Click here to donate.

Jacky Malotaux is raising funds to purchase much needed ponchos for refugees arriving on Leros.  Having recently visited Greece where she has family, Jacky has set up a targetted fund here.

Charlie Wales is looking to purchase solar powered lanterns for the camp at Calais. The aim is to buy 1,000 packs from LuminAid who have confirmed the lanterns will work in the conditions at Calais. With winter coming, lighting is an important resource for the Jungle. Donate here.

T Jazzy Davies is welcoming a Syrian father and his son from Calais in need of some respite from camp conditions. Please donate for their food/clothing/transport etc by sending Paypal donations to, or deliver items to Jazzy at 53340.

Sarah Berry is returning to Calais & Dunkirk at the end of next week. Please contact to contribute to the fund for fresh food and other items that will be bought there.

SATURDAY 10 OCT: Food collection at Carrefour Market de Sablé sur Sarthe (72300). Volunteers needed – please contact Sam Lion for details.

SATURDAY 10 OCT:  Collection of warm winter clothing for Iraq at 79120. See details here.

MONDAY 19 OCT: Sort at Hub53 near Mayenne – contact Ailsa Roberts for details.


Bordeaux Camp: have been served eviction notice. See Bordeaux group for full details and support required. 

Toulouse Camp: No additional aid required at the moment – local groups are supporting.

No Borders camp at Ventimiglia: destroyed by police. Aid is now required at nearby Red Cross / Caritas camp. See Cote d’Azur group for details.

Calais & Dunkirk: Sarah Berry is returning at the end of next week with aid, funds and time to volunteer. Please contact directly to contribute.

Several communes across the country are getting ready to welcome refugees including several in Poitou-Charentes. See the main FB group for details of these.


UK citizens can send 225 word input into the Home Affairs Committee inquiry into migration.
